The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced new dates for its 2024 Orientation and Matriculation ceremonies, which were previously scheduled for November 20 and 22, 2024.

In a statement jointly signed by the Registrar, Mr. Gabriel Egbe, and the Dean of Students’ Affairs, Prof. Tony Eyang, the university revealed that the Orientation Ceremony will now hold from December 3 to December 4, 2024, while the Matriculation Ceremony is set for December 6, 2024.
The rescheduling was made to give newly admitted students ample time to complete their registration processes and other formalities.
