President Bola Tinubu has approved provisional licences for Kevin Eze University, expanding the number of private universities in Nigeria.
This approval is part of the administration’s commitment to improving access to higher education and enhancing the country’s educational infrastructure.
According to a statement released on X (formerly Twitter) by the President’s Special Adviser on Media & Public Communication Sunday Dare, the approval was granted during the Monday Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Dare emphasised that the decision aligns with President Tinubu’s vision of advancing Nigeria’s educational system by creating more opportunities for students to access quality higher education.
“President Tinubu is committed to expanding the frontiers of educational opportunities and infrastructure in Nigeria,” the statement read.
